- Insurance

“It is hard to imagine an attorney who possesses the same combination of good temperament, dedication and tenacity in trying to bring parties with different interests together”

Appellate Mediation
If you have litigated a case at the trial court level and had to endure the appellate process, then you know that settlement can occur at any level in a case. David Baumhart is the immediate past Director of the Michigan Court of Appeals Settlement Office and has had a great deal of success in handling cases that end up before the Michigan Court of Appeals, settling cases which have already been “decided” at the trial court level.
The Settlement Office was closed due to budget cuts and there has never been a better time to enlist the services of the past director of that program with a long track record of success in settling cases, even after the filing of an appeal.
Dave Baumhart is particularly well positioned to handle your appellate settlement issues and draw from his many years of experience in handling the dynamic of a case that has been fully litigated and is now in the Court of Appeals.
“The above case just settled. That it did so was due to the efforts of the Court’s Settlement Director, David Baumhart. The courtesy, respect for all the parties and diligence that David showed was absolutely the key to this. It would not have settled without him. ” – Michigan Attorney
